Jan. 2nd, 2017 11:28 pm ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: Nyanta appears as a werecat, one of the various avatar races within the MMORPG Elder Tales. After the events that dragged players into the game world for real, however, he's found himself stuck as that, so! He's a tall and slender cat-man with grey and white fur, whiskers, cat ears, and digitigrade feet. No tail, however. His eyes are green, both irises and pupils looking a bit narrower than a human's. ♚ FASHION: He wears clothing more akin to out of a high fantasy fairy tale and therefore looks a bit old-fashioned. Long coats with tails, neatly tied cravats, high collared shirts, vests, spats (though no boots, due to cat feet and all) and, of course, his sword belt, complete with a pair of rapiers. ♚ DEMEANOUR: He is calm, reliable, and the very definition of a "cool cat" and is surprised by almost nothing. He much prefers acting the part of a gentleman, being well-mannered even in the face of far more uncouth individuals, though he does take offense at anyone being too rude and has been known to lecture such offenders (usually after dealing with them/removing them from the situation they're causing). Even then, he means no harm and doesn't care to draw his swords unless a fight is unavoidable. ♚ AURAL: He sounds like an older Japanese man. Age is difficult to tell based on how he looks as a werecat, but voice-wise, how he speaks, he definitely isn't a young man (possibly early 40s). Though, also being a werecat, he tends to add "nya" to the end of some of his sentences. He doesn't... actually need to do that, but he does. Some people are just dedicated to their roles in life, alright? ♚ OLFACTORY: Either just outright clean or like whatever he's in the middle of cooking at the time. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Calm words, calm mind, but no mental shields to speak of. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He's a swashbuckler, not a caster, so no magic here. Possibly enchanted gear and swords, though! ☄ OOC ♚ TAGGING: I'll reply to both commentspam and prose-style tags in like, regardless of what my top levels use. ♚ BACKTAGGING: Backtagging is a-ok with me. I'll backtag for at least up to a month or more, depending on the thread. My one exception is plot-sensitive threads, as I expect those to go somewhat faster than usual, and may ask to handwave how they end if they fall too far outside the plot timeline. ♚ NEGATIVE CR: Not everyone may like Nyanta and that is 100% fine. I enjoy negative CR as much as positive and hold a strict line between what's IC and OOC. Negative CR will always, always only be IC. ♚ FOURTHWALLING: No, I'll have to pass. Sorry. ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Hugs and platonic stuff are fine and don't bother him, though please watch the ears. That said, he is a gentleman and won't really engage himself beyond perhaps a friendly hand on the shoulder or, if they're short enough, the top of someone's head. Sure, he'll return a hug, but he won't kick it off, and if he knows someone well enough, he might throw a friendly arm over their shoulders. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Nyanta would prefer a fight to be the last resort, but if he must, he will, and he is a damn good sword fighter at that. As a swashbuckler and a werecat, he is very fast and capable of some pretty wild acrobatic feats while swinging those swords around. OOCly, yes, I'm a-ok with violent moments in a thread. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: Going to have to restrict it to just fluffy shipping stuff or one-sided, if even ever at all. He's stuck in his MMO werecat avatar as a body, so that would make anything else really, really weird. |
